[EN] The 4th Secret of Netlabels: slim down your releases and make your catalogue better!

The biggest part of netlabels out there publish tons of shit, they don’t know or care a fuck about applying some quality filter to their releases. There is any “firewall” between the demos they get in their inboxes and the releases they publish.

That’s why most part of netaudio scene sucks.

A simple tip that could be helpful for the unable-to-filter kind of netlabels admins is the following one: ok, publish every shit you get inside your inbox, but publish just the best part of it.

In other words, select the 2-3-4 best tracks in the album and publish just those. Your releases catalog will be a lot better and enjoyable by your listeners with a really small amount of work and sacrifice by your side.

Some netlabels are already into these “bonsai” releases, such as:
Jahtari
Baroque Dub
